What is the Ellinwood Public Education & Library Foundation?

The Foundation is a nonprofit corporation, governed by an independent Board of Trustees. As a partnership between the Ellinwood School System and the Community Library, the Foundation facilitates private contributions to enrich educational and cultural opportunities for both our youth and community. Contributions are tax deductible.




Who Can Donate?

The Foundation receives gifts, both large and small, from individuals, businesses and other organizations. Bequests through wills and trusts are also encouraged. Substantial gifts may be designated as endowments, an excellent way to provide on-going support for a special program or project, or to honor a family member, teacher, or friend.


MISSION & OBJECTIVES

 

The Ellinwood Public Education and Library Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. It was established in 1995 to provide an outlet for patrons, alumni, and businesses to contribute additional resources to USD355.

This foundation is an IRS non-profit organization designed exclusively for charitable purposes.

Our Mission:

● Enrich the quality of education for all USD355 students

● Provide an outlet for patrons, alumni, and businesses to contribute to the educational

mission of USD355

● Facilitate communication between the community and USD355

● Increase community awareness and involvement

Our Objectives:

● Student scholarships

● Classroom grants

● Student and staff recognition

● Facilities development
