The Ellinwood Public Education and Library Foundation proudly sponsors the Ellinwood Public Schools USD #355 Educator of the Year Award. This award recognizes teachers that have created academic excellence in the classroom and have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to educating students. Each year one (1) full-time, certified staff member (non-administrative) will be honored by the Foundation with the award. All non-administrative, certified staff (K-12) that are full-time are eligible each year for the award, including previous recipients. Any current/former student of the district, parent of a current/former student of the district, patron of the district, or staff colleague may nominate a deserving teacher. Any nominee desiring to be considered for the award will be required to complete an informational sheet for the selection committee.
