Library Foundation

One very powerful way to support your Ellinwood Schools in through the Ellinwood Public Education and Library Foundation, a great organization that provides opportunities to celebrate our school's heritage and support its future. Established in 1994, the Foundation is a non-profit corporation that facilitates private contributions to enrich the education we offer our youth and community.

Money donated to the Foundation provides an extra margin of excellence to Ellinwood students and library patrons. To date, over $100,000 has funded numerous projects and student scholarships. Projects have included such efforts as supporting the Ellinwood Grade School Nature Center, providing mini-grants to educators for special teaching projects, and developing the Zahn Hall of Memories. The Foundation has also funded various scholarships for graduating seniors.

The Foundation encourages contributions and gifts, both large and small, from individuals, families, businesses and other organizations. The Foundation can also be designated as a memorial, and all donations are tax deductible. It is only through the generousity and charitable spirit of patrons, citizens and friends of Ellinwood that the Foundation has been able to accomplish its mission.

We're all part of a great heritage and through the Foundation, we can all be part of a great future. If you have questions or would like more information, please call (620) 564-3226.
